Tourism Training Workshops

The Tourism Group has assisted in the development of skills for visitor information staff and volunteers through various training programs and workshops. We provided training in Customer Service skills for individual VICs on behalf of councils and regional tourism organisations. Throughout the years TTG has delivered numerous destination development, customer service training and storytelling workshops.

VIC Training Academy

We welcome all networks to  the Visitor Information Centre Training Academy, where we know that the depth of information found in these programs will ensure your region’s best chance of benefiting both socially and economically from visitors and tourism in general for many years to come.
Any Visitor Centre regardless of whether they are accredited or not may apply to join this program as the knowledge and skills learnt will equally serve our visitors well, no matter where they travel throughout this great country of ours. View the training guide information at this link.
